Is there a name for this type of coupler on the end of a narrow gauge coach arriving at Durango.
The thire rail in the station should date the photo between 1905 and 1923, but the Safety Appliance Act requiring automatic couplers went in final authority March 2, 1903. What is it? Or is the photo just misleading as it is an antomatic coupler and can not see the knuckle here. PRR
