The history proves that when the engines get all painted up, the tourist line dies in much quicker death. Keep the historic engines all black. Just the train is wild enough as it is. Besides, Harper already has the engines covered with white and silver to a discusting point already. He has only missed the rims of the inside drivers. Discusting! Eral, that is the first troubling thing I heard come from you, hopefully in jest. Up set the blood! If there was anything we should ask of Mr Harper, it would be to not let the ICON, the Needleton Water Tank go to rot. The most beautiful tank in the country, and they have not arranged one volenteer group or put one cent into stabilizing it. That is the big need now that they have paid off the big mortgague and will have some money. Wish the Friends could start there with a support group as well. PRR
