The recent post by Henry480 asking about the museum building at Silver Plume raises a question about public access to the 3 pieces of original C&S narrow gauge passenger equipment stored inside. I believe those are coach 76, business 911, and RPO 13 owned by the CHS. Years ago I was told there was no access so I never was able to see the cars. Did I just ask the wrong people? With all the news about the restored passenger equipment at the C&TS and their eventual operation on the railroad for special excursions, does anyone know what CHS has planned for the original C&S equipment? I only assume the C&S equipment is in much better shape now compared what the restoration teams had to work with on the C&TS D&RGW equipment.
