Don't blame ME - if You and Roger hadn't been supportive from the get-go, or Alan hadn't stepped in
when the going got tough, or JBWX hadn't endorsed the trip even before he succumbed to temptation
(or his wife threw him out for a few days) and decided to come along, it wouldn't have happened.

I'll plead guilty for throwing the snowball against the snowbank - but if it weren't for all the other flakes,*
the avalanche would never have happened!

Yes, the weather broke in our favor - and yes, #489 looked better in her green jacket than even I had expected - but what made this excursion REALLY special was the group itself.  Forty - count 'em - FORTY fun-loving foamers railfans, and a suberb train crew, sharing a GREAT time together!   ... and fully four - count 'em - FOUR of the forty (that's ten (yes, 10) percent) wuz Ladies!!
