I agree that ownership would need to be ascertained prior to removing 04036. Considering its close proximity to San Juan County Road 33 (Kendall Mountain Road), the car is likely situated within the road ROW, which might give the County some decison-making role. BLM is the agency that administers the land on which 04036 is slowly moldering away; consequently, BLM may also have a role in determining the fate of this historic object.
