WP&Y Tank Car #61 Paint History: help needed!

Sumpter Valley Railroad Restoration Inc. has had former White Pass and Yukon Route tank car #61 for many years. One of our core volunteers Tom Young has been sanding down the tank and frame to give it a new paint job. He would like to know the history of the car and hopefully view the paint schemes the car has had on the White Pass with the goal of painting and lettering appropriately. I have attached some photos that Tom sent to me. I suggested to Tom that I pass on the body of his email he sent to me, in a query here and he has allowed me to do so. We will be grateful for whatever we can learn.
From Tom: "I am asking for any info you might recall or be able to research thru historical photos and such, when you get some spare time, concerning the previous stenciling on the WP&Y #61 tank car. I have sanded the entire tank with a knockdown grit to get a reasonable prep surface for further prep and repainting. I have uncovered the WHITE PASS lettering from a previous time. The A end had been sanded at another time and lettering just barely shows. Will be sufficient to locate the new White Pass lettering on the side of the tank. The B end's hidden lettering is showing thru adequately to be able to outline with masking tape and I have traced it onto parchment paper. Plan on making a stencil for future lettering. Some unexpected lettering was on the tank turret. Maybe the picks attached will help in my explanation. On the top of the turret next to the hatch is the stencil in white "JP-4" (jet propellant?). On one side only of the turret (as the other side is a row of rivets) is a 18" blue square and illegible white lettering. I have looked at Standard oil, EMRO, Marathon, & Magnolene symbols- hard to make a match with any. Possibly just capacities and stencils. A barely visible weight stencil is on the A end. Cant see anything similar on the 62 tank car image".
