488 in Salida with Dual Gauge Couplers

Thought I'd post these since a discussion the other day brought this topic up. 488 and 487 were outfitted with dual gauge couplers for Valley Line use when the K-36's were based out of Salida until 1933. The dual gauge pockets then went to 492 and 496 when the swap with the K-37's happened. This photo is from the DPL and Otto Perry collection. Enjoy.
