Trains with snow in the background, not in it

After seeing drgw0579's photo of the blizzard in Santa Fe, and after another one of numerous snow shoveling exercises in Ridgway, I thought I would post some shots where the snow is in the background, not coming into the top of your boots.

Here is White Pass & Yukon 19 on a sunny day near Fraser





In this photo of visiting engine 40 much of the remaining summer snow is hidden by fog rising out of the valley



OK, the next two photos are not narrow gauge - 844 climbing to Telocaset summit with Oregon's snowy Blue Mountains in the distance, and SP 4449 along the Columbia River with white Mt. Hood
