This probably falls into the who cares category, but I just made a reservation at Durango's Strater Hotel for later this month, for the trips with SP18, and it dawned on me I first stayed at the Strater in January 1960, 59 years ago, on my first visit to the DRGW ng. Wow. I can say without fear of contradiction that the rates are a bit higher now. I think Rey, Gordon and I paid something like $10 a night for a very spartan three bed room.
