Railroad photo negatives for sale on that auction site

Did anyone here notice this auction that ended yesterday?

Impressive price!
It looks like this was taken at Camp 2 (The photo is supposedy dated 1922 which is in the general time frame of Camp 2)

Neat photo and you're supposedly buying the original negative, but I'm curious if anyone has bought from him before.

Which is also interesting, but it is also a photo that is in the Fritz- Metcalf Photographic collection at UC Berkeley:

They are very strict about the use of their images and I would imagine they also have the negative since the foresters who took them were UC Berkeley professors.

So I wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this seller and does he actually have these negatives, or is he obtaining copies of negatives somewhere?

He's had other Madera Sugar Pine photos for sale before and if you look through his auctions you'll find things such as Sugar Pine Lumber and Sierra Railroad as well.
