Locomotives in use on the RGS 1925-1930

A few years ago my son and I spent a day in the CRRM Library reviewing RGS Dispachers Train Sheets. Each year in the collection is not complete but we were able to put together a sampling of locomotives in use from 1925 through 1930. We were interested in when the RGS C-16's disappeared and when the K-27's showed up. We were amazed at the number of locomotives in use in the mid 1920's and the variety of different classes of engines being used at that time. You will notice duplication of numbers in our recording of locomotives in use by day. We recorded locomotives assigned to trains so if one engine showed up on more than one train in a day it was recorded twice.
