SFAIK, Jeff Ellingson – Curator of the D&S Museum – is still in charge of the railroad's paint shop as well, so it's pretty likely that
IF #493 does get a green jacket it will be the exact same modern version of D&RGW Dark Olive Boiler Jacket Green (aka 'Moffat' Green) that he applied to four of the D&S passenger cars back in 2007 or 2008 and that he used when he painted #489 for her
'Springtime in the Rockies' excursion on the C&TS in May of 2010. See [
