We are currently using two types of epoxy, liquid and putty, two part mixes from Abatron. The liquid tends to run out of the bottoms of cracks and holes, sometimes necessitating the use of the putty.
Early in the summer, one of the Friends told me of a water based (a powder, anyway) epoxy that could be mixed to different states, liquid or putty, or anything in between, and was hard enough to drill and tap, and, that he had been using it for 20 years.
Like a buffoon, I didn't write down the guy's name, or the brand.
Has anyone heard of such an item? Powder epoxy mix for wood repair?
Internet searches only come up with epoxy powder used in powder coatings.
Thanks!
