09271 Gunnison gon plow brake rigging

Building a Gunnison gon plow 09271 and it just occurred to me while both trucks have brakes with that big herking wedge plow on one end that the train line must be terminated somewhere. They would've needed air for the flanger mechanism, but I don't happen to believe it had the flanger despite the general arrangement drawings (it's not you, it's me). So anyway, what happened to the train line? Would there be a usual arrangement for cars where the train line terminates rather than continues thru?

Thanks forum, for everything...
Mike
