From the Friends and Fans of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, THANK YOU, for your help, skills, patience, and camaraderie in 2017.

For 22,480 hours we worked on:
- 26 cars: repairing and restoring trucks, wheel sets, brake lines, siding, roofs, floors, sills, and windows
- 17 structures and cars were re-painted
- 15 cars were re-lettered
- 5 buildings: repairing and restoring buildings in Antonito, Lava, Osier, Cumbres, and Chama
- 7 structures: including coal tipple, sand house, sand tower, semaphores, livestock pens, oil platforms, completion of Antonito CRF Lean-To, mileposts, and signage
In addition to the regularly scheduled sessions (A through G) we fit in SIX additional special sessions including an April Stock car 3-day adventure

We welcomed 31 new Work Session volunteers!

Our support volunteers made a tremendous impact:
- Took 3,200 photos
- Filmed 5 hours of video
- Made 2,961 meals
- Checked in 572 people (up 5% from 2016)
- Ran 21 hours of slideshows of railroad videos
Plus we ran two highly successful photo freight charter trains!

We look forward to seeing you all in 2018!

Happy Holidays!

~
