Chama: Reefer beside the log bunkhouse

Anybody have information and stories regarding what I assume is a standard gauge reefer beside the log bunkhouse in the Chama yard?
I am betting it arrived along with the Night Watchman's shack. The speeder shed in Sublette also seems like 1/2 of a reefer.
It has become the workshop for the Friends brake team, people keep asking me about it, so I might as well give out accurate info.
