6400 Series Flat cars - Old Style

I have acquired all of the parts and pieces I need to build an Fn3 6400 series flat, however... There were some flats, such as 6413, that went into MOW service that were not rebuilt/reinforced. They apparently were shorter, but what did they use for bolsters/draft gear if they weren't equipped with the cut down standard gauge parts? Were they pretty much 6000 series cars with a little extra length?
