Hi, Doug -

Your drawing is a lot cleaner than the one I just finished, but my version illustrates why a draw is needed on a three-rail dual-gauge wye.   A four-rail dual-gauge wye wouldn't need a draw, but I would croak at the number of frogs that would be required! (Ribbit, Ribbit!!)

I probably mis-named the "Frog" (sort of) where the third rail draws away from the common rail, but there's no point arguing about it ...     spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
