NNG: Strasburg Rail Road #90: Steam and Snow

Hi everyone,

As a result of Winter Storm Stella, the Road to Paradise had a good coating of snow and with warm winter temperatures on March 19th, 2017 the weather was just right for a day of chasing.

I hope you enjoy the pictures and the video. There truly is nothing like steam locomotives in the snow!

SRC #90 rounds Long Curve putting on a show...



Doing her part to pay homage in a small way to the deep snow drifts on the C&T and D&S, SRC #90 makes her way through the Groundhog Cut.



Outbound trip across a desert of snow...



SRC #90 pulled eight cars across the snowy Road to Paradise this day.
