IIRC, St. Paddy's day is - or at least used to be - a MUCH bigger deal here in the States than across the pond in Ireland.  Is it also a big deal in other lands with relatively large numbers of Irish immy-Grants, such as Odds-Trailya, Kiwi-Vania and (Gnu) Mexi-Maco?? *

IMHO, in honor of Shamrocks everywhere, each of us should post a photo or two of his or her favorite Green-Jacketed Loco.**
My choice is pretty obvious, so I'll start with this one:


I've seen a Model-A Ford here in Ventura painted much the same - dark olive green hood and shiny black body & fenders - VERY classy!!

  * Walt Kelly's spelling, per Pogo.  IIRC, nearly as many Irish migrated to Mexico during the mid-1800's as to the U.S.; one of my friends in high school was an exchange student from a village near Ixtaccíhuatl named Eduardo Miguel O'Rourke.
