WP&Y #4 Moving Out Of Silver Plume This Week!

February 20, 2017 05:18PM
Well, after weeks of speculation we can confirm that WP&Y #4 is indeed going to Como this summer. This week the engine will be moved out of its display at Silver Plume and will head to the shops that will convert her to her new fuel source.

This will be an exciting addition to the growing track and narrow gauge equipment that is slowly returning to the old C&S Como roundhouse and grounds.

More of the details of this can be found on their FB page. [www.facebook.com]

Klondike Mines Railway #4. A 1912 Baldwin locomotive. The #4 will be moving to Cheyenne Wyoming Tuesday February 21st for repairs . Wasatch Railroad Contractors will be performing the work under the supervision of the legendary Steve Lee formerly of the Union Pacific steam program. We anticipate her arrival in Como by early July. Stay tuned for updates on her anticipated return
