Re: The Eureka locomotive

i have had the pleasure of seing EUREKA in steam at Railfair 1999; where she had a small piece of track to run back and forth on. It would be a thrill to see her have space to really strut her stuff.
I was riding in a newly restored Carter Brothers combine it made quite a show. Perhaps the two of them can go traveling again.
Don, when you are old and gray and two aged to pick up the tools, I hope she goes to the Nevada State Railroad Museum. But I am sure that thought is a long way off and in the mean time tou get to
run your mascot for all of us to enjoy.
