D&RGW colour schemes

I stumbled across a couple of pictures doing some research, and happened to notice that the D&RGW had (at least) two different strategies for painting buildings in the buff/brown era.

At Cimmaron, the "public" buildings (depot and eating house) are buff/brown, while all the service buildings are red or brown:

Sargent, however, has many of the service buildings (sand house, water tank, etc) also in buff/brown:

Anyway, I thought it was interesting....
