Loads Of Wool Westbound

Previous question about Westbound train consist into Chama during October 1956, box cars of wool, who used it and where did it go. Two possible answers ...
#1 Those might have been cars loaded with rock wool insulation, other cars in the train were plaster board & roofing. Condr making out train list may have used the abbrevation "wool." San Juan Basin was going thru a building boom and many new homes were under construction, etc.
#2 Possible destination was Farmington, then on to the trading posts along the Navajo Reservation. Only conflict here is that the Indians raised there own sheep & sheered them in the Spring. Sheep wool was spun into yarn and the lady weavers made rugs or blankets. During October the Indians and Ranchers were busy shipping their sheep and cattle off to markets, buying wool would not have been on their minds.
Retired D&RGW Operator-Agent, Amos Cordova might recall if those cars showed up in Farmington, also loaded with home insulation or sheep wool???
He is now the Mayor of Durango, and worked at Chama, Durango, & Farmington.
