From the Santa Fe New Mexican:
As legislators began winding down on their redistricting work Thursday, Johnson proclaimed a new special session - but only for emergency money for the state Board of Finance.
Both houses approved a $2.2 million bill for emergency projects, such as water-rights litigation against the state of Texas, ($1.3 million); steam-engine inspection and repairs for the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad ($450,000); prosecution of a death-penalty murder case in Farmington ($250,000); and $200,000 for emergency contingencies.
