Scott;
Several years ago 3 of us spent the night in the
telegraph office at the Alpine Tunnel. Going up was beautiful. We drove thru a tunnel of fall
color. During the night the wind came up and when
we drove down the next day we drove on a carpet of fall color.
So if you wait until the wind blows they will be a lot easier to reach.
