I saw the topic broached on another thread so here is a new one, does anyone have information on the history of the attempts in the last several years to resurrect at least a small part of the RGS on its' former right-of-way? I remember hearing that the Dolores group had gathered some materials to attempt this but i think they ran into some sort of deal-killer and ended up donating their stash of track components to someone else's project (the track re-lay in Silverton maybe?).
Anyone with details, history, future probabilities, etc for any of the RGS to be re-laid would be most appreciated by this narrow gauge fan clear over here in Kansas!
