This morning while planning on working on our Pacific Coast Boxcar #706 project, it was discovered that someone had cut the lock and chain on the gate securing our Emily Street yard. The culprits then cut through a heavy duty 1/2" thick chain and entered our Pacific Coast 1200 series Boxcar housing artifacts for our future museum. At this time, we are missing the locomotive bell off our 1927 Baldwin Kiso Lumber locomotive. The brass bell is approxiamately 8 to 10 inches in diameter and has a yolk and acorn nut on its top. We are still checking to see what other items maybe missing. For those in Southern and Central California that may come across a railroad locomotive bell that would be similar to ours in a pawn shop, antique store or swap meet please let us know.
