I have a publication dated 1905 called the Twentieth Century Hand Book for Steam Engineers and Electricians. Its a 1905 revised edition to which is addedfill and complete chapters on the strength of boilers, mechanical stokers, clear descriptions of the steam turbine, its construction and management. Its written by a C.F. Swingle, M.E.
There is a picture of a Reynolds combined vertical and horizontal engine 12,000 horse power cylinders, 44X88X60. It was build by the Allis-Chalmers company. Interesting stuff, little over my head, know anything about this publication?
