September 8 Tripleheader Update - COOL STUFF

We've come up with a new wrinkle for the Sept 8 triple header out of Chama. As there probably will be barely enough traffic to warrant a double header let alone a tripleheader, we are filling out the consist with frieght cars and 0503 will bring up the rear. 2 locomotives will be cut into the consist ahead of the passenger consist.
- think of it as "Marshall Pass meets the 1950's Silverton Mixed"
Consist will be as follows:
463
6 assorted freight cars
497
48?
10 or 12 passenger cars (as needed)
caboose 0503.
Adjusted tonnage around 490 tons.
Upon arrival at Cumbres, 463 the frieght cars and 0503 will return to Chama.
We will be selling tickets to ride in the 0503 from Chama to Cumbres and return for $50.00. Space is limited to 10 happy people (no grouching). No lunch, no restrooms, or other luxuries. Caboose tickets are available from the Chama Office. NOTE- be sure to ask for Kim or Crissie as the other ticket clerks are not cut in on this plan!!! We plan on doing a couple photoruns on the way back, the limiting factor being what 463 can shove back up the 4%.
Remember you are on your own for drinks and munchies.
