Fall Foliage Run

We at the Sumpter Valley are planning on a Fall Foliage special photo run on Saturday, Oct. 20.
A Mixed freight will leave McEwen station pulled by the Mike. There will be four or five photo runbys. All for the very low price of $35.
At 1 p.m. we will pull a freight train for those wishing line side shots. There will be a couple of runbys. At this time we plan on pulling our two D&RG high side gons, our UTLX tank, a couple of steel flats off the WP&Y, a couple of EBT hoppers, the D&RG box and our caboose No. 5.
At 4 p.m. we run a Halloween train to the Sumpter Valley DredgeState Heritage area where riders will be treated to Hot cider and cookies. Children to age 16 will receive a discount on their fare if wearing a costume, and prizes will be awarded to best costume.
Hopefully we will be able to entice some of you narrow minded folks that live close by to join us.
