Thanks for the photos. Given how far 485 was into the pit, didn't that mean that she must have been going pretty fast (like maybe faster than a person running)?
Also, the force of the crash must have been pretty serious for them to scrap her, even as noted in other posts that there was no budget for repairs at that late date. I wonder if it had happened during better financial times if she would have been repaired?
