Crown Metal Products 36" 4-4-0s

Out of curiousity, would those who have examined or operated a Crown Metal 3 ft. gauge 4-4-0 share their opinions on these locomotives. I realize they were made for park operations, but they are narrow gauge and steam powered.

Were they well made? Were they fairly easy to maintain? Did they operate well under the conditions of their home railroad?

Any and all other comments would be interesting to this poster and hopefully others.
