I previously asked about D&RGW narrow gauge marker lights and the lens color is amber on the sides and red to the rear. (Red, Amber, Amber, Amber). Note this is for the era I model (late 1940s to early 1950s).
But I'm wondering about the San Juan, and marker light color usage on other passenger cars.
In many paintings and even on expensive brass models, they lenses are green to the sides and red to the rear. (Red, Green, Green, Green)
Unfortunately I cannot tell from the few prototype color photos I have what color the lenses on the markers are.
I'm in the process of updating the marker lights on my passenger cars, so it would be nice to follow the prototype if possible.
Did the passenger cars, passenger cars in my case meaning parlor cars and the Silver Vista, carry (Red, Green, Green, Green) markers?
Or should they also have the standard (Red, Amber, Amber, Amber)?
