It caused a stir in town especially with the contractors involved who helped provide the cost estimates for dirt work and track work. Times are not good here right now and any prospect of work is enticing. The process with the State Fund, however, requires competetive bidding, signing of contracts, submittal of plans for approval, and all that adds up to delay. We will be lucky to see any dirt turned up here before mid-summer, though speedy and diligent work could move that up. The fellow at the state level who approves things has a reputation for taking a lot of time and has been known to lose documents and plans within the 4 walls of his office, so we'll see. Also, matching funds have to be found and that's where outside help can be of great assistance. My unofficial motto is "On to Eureka!"
