As an aside to the Durango 4-4-0, Harpur used D&RG boxcar chassis for his passenger cars. Six Flags over Georgia recently donated three of these cars to the folks who are restoring the Doe River Gorge section of the ET&WNC. Motive power is former Opryland 2-4-4T "Rachel", a beautifully "backdated" Vulcan (yes, she is still steam). Check out Ken Riddle's link from the ET&WNC website for some great pictures of Rachel coming out of a tunnel !!!
