Knott's Railroad backshop tours

You don't have to wait till January 12, 2002 to enjoy some of the special 50th Anniversary Celebration events for the GT & C RR at Knott's.
Starting July 7, 2001 and every weekend all summer, Knott's is offering a limited number of up close and personal guided tours of the Calico Railroad Equipment and Maintenance Facilities not generally open to the public. See how this historic Narrow Gauge equipment is preserved, operated and maintained right on the property.
The tour includes the Galloping Goose #3 and inside the "EDNA" and "DURANGO" (if not occupied)
This is a tour everyone interested in rail preservation won't want to miss. A limited number of souvenir tickets are available each day and can be purchased inside the park at the Calico Train Junction Store. The price for each ticket is $5 (plus the normal park admission).
