Y'all have probably discussed this in the past, but I am very interested in learning about maintenance (sp?) of steam locomotives.
What is considered regular daily maintenance? What is considered weekly/monthly?
How often does a steam locomotive have to be removed from service and given a good "tune-up."
How often and for what reasons does a steam locomotive have to be completely overhauled?
Thank you for helping me with my attempts to learn.
