DRHS' response to 315 Chama trips

In response to the inquiries about the 315 schedule the DRHS would like to make it known that we would rather not alter any of the scheduled trips, but both the DRHS and C&TS have to cover the costs of running those trips. As of today there were 4 tickets sold for the June 18th trip. Unless there is a significant number of ticket sold in the very near future, that trip will likley not occur.

As for the rest of the dates, the June 16th and July 7th Chama-Antonito, Antonito-Chama runs are meeting costs. The friends trip should be fine and the July 4th trip should happen although there is still some avalibility on that one. The July 9th trip is the weak seller and may be subject to change/cancellation.

If there are any of you out there on the fence about coming, please, please make your reservations. The DRHS is doing its best to keep the costs affordable as well as pay for things like steam oil, boiler treatment, and the multitude of other items involved in running these trips. Keep in mind that up to this point the 315 has been on "home rails" and has lived partially on the extreme good graces of the D&SNG. This is in all reality a road trip for the 315 and as such is inccuring some vacation expenses.
