I am looking for information about the following locos. Have found little in DeGolyer Library or Broadbent catalogs. looking for erecting drawings and current status.
I do have the Baldwin shop numbers for the three 2-8-2 engines exported to Peru in 1925-26. The shop numbers are: # 58011 9/1924 -Ingeniero Vinas (#3),# 59205 5/1926 - La Convencion (#4), and #59206 5/1926 - Presidente Leguia (#5). All are class 12-241/4E 36" gauge / 37" driver / 15"x20" cyl.
At this time, it is thought that #59206 is the one on display outside Lima, as it was last seen in 1990 at the Cuzco engine house, and is no longer there.
Any help or lead will be greatly appreciated!!
