Re: NG Interchange U&N/South Park

I apparently was not very clear in the intent of posting my previous note. Please re-read the last sentance which states "I am not trying to make any particular assertions just stating what I have seen." What I mean by this is that the three pictures (hard proof) I have seen involving the transfer have been standard guage cars. I am not implying that no one mentioned standard gauge cars. I am not implying that no narrow guage cars were transfered nor am I implying that only coal was transfered. If anything I have learned that most pictures taken 100+ years ago were not of the everyday occurances but of extrordinary events as the photographic process was expensive and cumbersome, unlike todays point and shot one hour photo's. I appreciate all of the information which has been put forward on this subject as I have learned a great deal from all who have participated. I am eager to learn more.
