The question had been what was the meaning of the initials "SVRy."
Thank you for making it not mean "Sumpter Valley." Until something else comes up I'll take it as meaning Sierra Valley.
Now comes the question, if it is Sierra Valley, is this the car that shows up in the pictures in Myrick's book? Is this the car that goes to N-C-O when it buys out the Sierra Valley's successor?
I don't have my N-C-O (& Sierra Valley) notes in front of me, but when the Sierra Valley was sold to the N-C-O around 1916-18 it had one combine that from reports to the CRC must go to the N-C-O. I believe that this is the combine identified as #1 in the ICC valuation report as the other combines on the N-C-O are numbered 10-11-12.
