I am told that there were two different scenes shot at the Depot. One set was done with coats being worn and one without; one using the SP lettered equipment and one with the Santa Fe equipment. The week before the movie was doing street scenes in San Dimas which was reportedly standing in for Pasadena.

Well, here are some views of the equipment from the Orange Empire Ry Museum website:

This is actually the rear end of the movement to San Bernardino:


Freshly painted 1915 built San Diego & Arizona Eastern #175:


The same car at San Bernardino dulled and weathered for the motion picture (next to it is a Lackawanna commute car lettered as an SP car.):


Several Santa Fe cars from the museum were also included. One of these is the RPO car #60:


Here is the Pullman car BISON PEAK after arriving in San Bernardino:



The other Pullman to move to "San Berdoo" to serve as part of a view block is the 1916 built CORYDON
